Simmered Hijiki and Carrot
Ingredients
3 tbsp hijiki
1 large carrot, julienned
Cooking oil
12 tbsp dashi stock
6 tsp soy sauce
1 1/2 tsp sugar
Method
Soak the hijiki in warm water for 25 mins, then drain.
Saute the hijiki and carrot in a pan with the oil for a few minutes, then add the remaining ingredients and simmer for 3-4 mins.
