Method
This is a really simple recipe. All you need to do is hard boil eggs (quail, chicken - whatever you have) then peel and soak them in soy sauce for around an hour. You can leave them overnight for a stronger flavour. There are plenty of alterations you can make to this recipe, but this is the simplest!
NOTES
If you have them in a bowl like this, cover it with cling film and allow the film to settle on the top of the liquid, forcing the eggs under the surface.
To hard boil quail eggs, add them to cold water and bring to the boil, then boil for three minutes. For hen’s eggs, repeat this and boil for ten minutes.
